The Ciena 180-2120-900 (WL5N TYPE 1A.0, CLEI: WOTRETXFAA) is a CFP2-DCO digital coherent optical transceiver powered by Ciena's WaveLogic™ 5 Nano coherent DSP. Featuring an integrated software-programmable architecture, it supports online rate switching between 100G (DP-QPSK) and 200G (DP-8QAM/16QAM) operation modes. Equipped with a full C-band tunable DWDM laser and native coherent receiver, it enables high-capacity 100GE, 200GE, OTU4, and FlexO service transport over Ciena 5400 and 6500 Series Packet-Optical platforms. It features real-time digital optical monitoring (DOM), a duplex LC optical interface, and IEC Class 1M laser safety certification, making it ideal for carrier metro, regional, and data center interconnect (DCI) DWDM networks
