The Cisco CPAK-100G-SR10 (Part No. 800-41495-01) is a high-performance 100GBASE-SR10 CPAK optical transceiver designed for Cisco high-density data center switches and routers. It adopts 10×10G parallel optical technology, delivering 100Gbps ultra-short-reach transmission over OM3/OM4 multi-mode fiber. Equipped with a standard MPO-24 connector, it fully complies with IEEE 802.3ba standard. Product Highlights

1. Dedicated MPO-24 Interface for Standard SR10 Architecture

Different from SR4’s MPO-12 interface, 100GBASE-SR10 requires 20 full-duplex cores (10 transmit + 10 receive). The MPO-24 connector perfectly matches the core quantity demand, avoiding bandwidth bottlenecks and adaptation failures caused by insufficient cores of MPO-12. It is the only standard physical interface for 100G SR10 parallel optical transmission.

2. Mature 10×10G Parallel Optical Solution

Based on mature 850nm multi-mode parallel optical technology, it realizes stable 100Gbps transmission, fully utilizes existing OM3/OM4 fiber resources, and provides a low-cost and efficient short-distance 100G networking solution for data centers.

3. Cisco Original Certified Compatibility

All modules are factory tested and calibrated by Cisco, with zero compatibility errors for CPAK-port switches and routers. It supports plug-and-play, effectively simplifying network deployment and later operation and maintenance.
