The Juniper Networks 740-054399 (Finisar P/N: FTLX1472M3BNL-J3, Marketing P/N: SFPP-10G-LR-OTN) is an authentic extended-temperature multi-rate 10GBASE-LR / OTN SFP+ optical transceiver module designed for 10km single-mode fiber (SMF) connectivity. Operating at 1310nm with a DFB laser transmitter and duplex LC connector, it supports transmission distances up to 10 kilometers over standard OS2 SMF per IEEE 802.3ae and ITU-T G.709 standards.Unlike standard 10G-LR modules, this multi-rate transceiver natively supports OTN OTU2 (10.7 Gbps) optical transport protocols. Factory-rated for an extended operating temperature of 85C (0°C - +85°C) and pre-flashed with native SFPP-10G-LR-OTN firmware, it provides zero-alarm, plug-and-play operation across Juniper MX, PTX, QFX, and EX platforms.
