Genuine Juniper Networks 740-013111-01 SP7041-M1-JN1-01 SFP 1000BASE-T 100m RJ45 Copper Transceiver
Juniper SFP Gigabit copper transceiver, part number 740-013111-01 REV 01, Methode OEM model SP7041-M1-JN1-01. Compliant with SFP MSA and IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T standards, adopting an SGMII electrical interface with a built-in RJ45 connector. This transceiver supports auto-negotiation of 10/100/1000Mbps speeds. 10Mbps and 100Mbps operation relies on host port SGMII interface support; if the host port only supports 1000BASE-X mode, the transceiver will lock to 1000Mbps. It achieves a maximum reach of up to 100m over Cat5 / Cat5e unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables and is equipped with Auto-MDI/MDI-X automatic crossover detection. Featuring a standard hot-pluggable SFP form factor, it is natively compatible with Juniper EX, QFX, MX, and SRX series switches and routers, expanding RJ45 copper ports on standard SFP slots to connect fiber-based network equipment with regular twisted-pair end-devices.

Typical Applications ✅Juniper EX & QFX Switch Port Expansion: Expands standard RJ-45 Gigabit copper ports on native SFP uplink or access slots of Juniper EX and QFX switches.
✅Multi-Platform Enterprise Handoff: Provides 1000BASE-T copper service handoffs to legacy twisted-pair end-devices via SFP ports on Juniper MX routers and SRX firewalls.
✅Server & Edge Device Connectivity: Connects fiber switch SFP slots directly to RJ-45 servers, workstations, PCs, and IP surveillance cameras (data connectivity only; non-PoE).
✅Out-of-Band (OOB) Management Links: Connects SFP ports to dedicated 1G RJ-45 server management interfaces (e.g., IPMI, iDRAC, iLO) or console servers within data center racks.
✅Legacy Infrastructure & Security Network Renovation: Enables low-cost 1G UTP copper access upgrades for equipment rooms and security monitoring networks without swapping line cards.
